ANPAA (Assocation Nationale de Prevention en Alcoologie et Addictologie)
Aims: Advocacy, prevention, education, information, training, treatment, rehabilitation, research in alcohol and other illicit drugs
Activities:
- National level: Advocacy in the fields of advertising, road and work place safety, treatment centres
- Regional level: Coordination of local teams and activities; implementing campaigns and regional projects
- Local level: Information and training organised by the 100 local teams-- "ANPAA Departementale de Prevention en Alcoologie et Addictologie"--based in all the French "Departments" (including the Overseas Territories).
- Medical care in the 160 "Centre de Cure Ambulatoire en Álcoologie" specialised in out-patient centres with 1500 professionals
