International Federation of the Blue Cross

Aims: Treatment and rehabilitation, education and information, prevention work/youth work with a main focus on the area of alcohol, HIV/AIDS and poverty.

Activities: The International Federation of the Blue Cross is an umbrella organisation. The main work is done by the National Societies: meeting and therapy groups, treatment centers, half-way houses, meeting places, publications, youth and family work, education of volunteers. The IFBC is heading in the direction of becoming a strong networking community.
