Objectives and aims:
The main activities of the Lithuanian National Tobacco and Alcohol Control Coalition:
- Prevention from alcohol and tobacco dependence, rehabilitation from alcohol and tobacco dependence.
- Coordination of organizations working on the prevention and rehabilitation from alcohol and tobacco dependence.
- Proposals to Government, Parliament and other institutions on effective tobacco and alcohol control policy.
The main aims of Lithuanian National Tobacco and Alcohol Coalition are:
- Unite persons and organizations in a common activity of alcohol and tobacco control policy.
- Create, encourage, and implement projects and programmes about alcohol and tobacco control policy in Lithuania.
- Educate society about consequences of harmful and hazardous use of alcohol and tobacco.
- Advocate rights of no smokers.
- Suggest proposals for Government and Parliament, other institutions about the most effective and evidence based alcohol and tobacco control policy.
- Represent Lithuanian NGOs in the international organizations and conferences as a full member on issues such as alcohol and tobacco control policy,
