Passenger imports of alcoholic beverages decreased - Finland

Passenger imports of alcoholic beverages converted into 100% alcohol decreased by 13.8% between September 2016 and August 2017 compared to the same period last year, according to National Institute for Health and Welfare.

Finnish travelers brought a total of 73.7 million litres of alcohol from abroad between September 2016 and August 2017. Amount converted to 100% alcohol was 7.5 million litres, compared to 8.7 million litres in 2016 at the same time.

Passenger imports decreased in all beverage groups except for intermediate products (fortified wines and beverage mixes).
