Alcohol policy in Europe, evidence from the AMPHORA Project

The AMPHORA Project (Alcohol Public Health Research Alliance) has just released the an ebook summarising the science and findings the project.

The book contains chapters on the impact alcohol has on European societies, alcohol policies that can make a difference, popular norms for drinking, alcohol advertising and young people, alcohol interventions and treatments in Europe, preventing harm in drinking environments and unrecorded alcohol.

The AMPHORA project is a 4-year project co-funded by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme. AMPHORA aims to contribute with new evidence on scarcely explored or unexplored areas of alcohol consumption and alcohol-related harm in Europe.For more information visit the project website
