Conference: The impact of Alcohol on HIV/Aids and Poverty. What does it mean on the level of intervention?
The International Federation of the Blue Cross is organising a conference on “The impact of Alcohol on HIV/Aids and Poverty”.
The conference will take place in Accra, Ghana, from the 11th to the 13th of October. It will gather Representatives of Blue Cross organisations in Africa, Europe, India and Brazil and Representatives of the WHO, Forut, World Church Council, World Vision and others in an attempt to better understand the link between HIV/Aids and poverty for interventions in alcohol and other drug related issues.
