These initiatives or actions are referred to as commitments, which are all linked to one of the seven priorities found in the Forum’s Charter.
The Third Monitoring Report presents an evaluation of 2011. The report concludes: “The outcome of this year’s evaluation exercise is positive. The quality of the information provided by Forum members in their monitoring reports has improved by all accounts. The overall median score in 2011 was 4. In 2010 and 2009, it was, respectively, 3.5 and 3. Compared to 2010, 2011 median scores increased for all but two sections and decreased for none of them. Particularly marked improvements have occurred in the provision of information relating to the commitments’ relevance. As in 2010, most 2011 reports provided sufficient information regarding inputs, including man-hours and man-days for specific periods and financial resources. Members have likewise continued to improve their monitoring reports by providing clear information on the involvement of different organisations and their contribution to the commitment”.
