WHO Round table reports now available
The reports from the round table meetings the WHO has held with NGOs and health professionals (24-25 November) and economic operators (6 November) can be now downloaded by clicking here.
As part of the preparatory work for the release of a Global Strategy to reduce alcohol related harm, the WHO held last november a series of round table meetings first with the economic operators and then with NGOs and health professionals. The meetings looked at ways in which these actors could contribute to reduce alcohol related harm and will explore ways for more structured interaction between civil society organisations and the WHO Secretariat at the global level.
In the coming month the WHO will also publish an extensive report from the web-based public consultation on ways to reduce the harm caused by alcohol the WHO held last october.
