Poland: Change in alcohol sell arrangements at mass events

From 13th January in Poland a new legislation came into force which allows for sell and consumption of alcoholic beverages up to 3,5% during mass events, excluding mass events which could cause higher risk. However, it is not allowed to sell alcoholic beverages in packaging from ‘hard’ material especially glass, metal and other substance that could pose a risk for life and health of people.

Initially these changes were introduced while drafting the regulations of UEFA EURO 2012 Championships nevertheless, now they are incorporated into core regulations regarding general safety at mass events.
