IOGT-NTO/UNF (Sweden): A better spare-time

UNF is forming a campaign called a better spare-time. The purpose of the campaign is to empower young people and focus on their spare time.

The campaign is based on a survey regarding young people and the relationship between their spare-time and alcohol consumption.

It’s made evident that the lack of a meaningful spare-time and fun activities leads to a higher alcohol consumption. Another part of the campaign is to make the night-life better and to promote alcohol-free drinks. We are forming certificates for responsible clubs and pubs that fulfill our criteria’s for a better night-life. Municipalities that provide young people with meaningful activities can also receive a certificate.

We would like to see our campaign spreading to other countries in Europe so more young people can have a better spare-time and night-life.
