World Health Authorities meet in Istanbul to discuss alcohol policy
The Turkish Green Crescent Society will hold the first symposium on alcohol policies in Turkey with the World Health Organization.
The President of the World Health Organization, Margaret Chan, will be a guest speaker at the symposium that will take place on April 26-27.
The Turkish Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will attend the opening part of the symposium.
The “Global Alcohol Policy Symposium” will bring together more than 1200 leading experts from 53 countries.
The symposium will be conducted with the support of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
