Rauxa Associació celebrates its 20th anniversary

To commemorate its 20th anniversary, Rauxa (an alcohol treatment charity that works with homeless people) will hold a conference on “Health, alcoholism and Social Exclusion”. The programme will include an opening speech by the Health Minister of Catalonia, Ms Marina Geli, and presentations by Dr. Francesc Freixa (psychiatrist, Sanfeliu) and Mr Freek Spinnewijn (Director of Feantsa).

These presentations will be followed by four parallel working groups on:

1. Prevention of alcohol related problems
2. Recovery alcoholics and their families
3. Marginalisation of homeless people
4. Alcohol dependence treatment

At 19h00 there will be a party and a jazz concert.
