New Health Impact Assessment webTool launched

On 5 November 2007, a new Health Systems Impact Assessment webTool was launched, in Lisbon at the Portuguese Presidency meeting on Health and Health Systems Impact Assessment.

This webTool is designed to help desk officers who may not have background knowledge in health to consider the impact their new proposals may have on health systems.

The webTool is publicly available on the Europa website and can be used by people at EU, national, regional and local levels.

It was developed by a Working Group of the High Level Group on Health Services and Medical Care, in partnership with the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies.
