Please find attached the Call for Abstracts for a thematic meeting of the Kettil Bruun Society on Youth Drinking in Decline. The meeting will be held on 10-12 April 2019 in Krakow, Poland (https://kbsyouthdrinkingindecline.com/).
Youth alcohol consumption is declining across most high income nations, often alongside concurrent decreases in drug use and smoking. Researchers are increasingly focusing on the nature and underlying reasons for this trend. The thematic meeting will bring together researchers from around the world to explore the topic and its implications for public health, policy and practice.
The thematic meeting will follow the format of other KBS conferences and will focus on the presentation and discussion of pre-circulated papers that are, as yet unpublished. This popular format provides an opportunity for delegates to get early input or public peer review ahead of submitting a paper to a journal.
Researchers are invited to submit informative abstracts by 15th December 2018. See https://kbsyouthdrinkingindecline.com and the attached call for abstracts for further details.
